Chemical Peels
Promoting
Radiant, Healthy Skin
Chemical peels are solutions applied to the skin’s surface like a mask. They safely remove outer layers of skin cells exposing younger undamaged layers of your skin. This will have your skin feeling soft and smooth. You will notice that healthy glow of a more radiant skin tone.
Chemical peels will also slow aging by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
Different types of chemical peels are used for wrinkles, acne, dry skin, discoloration, and even sensitive skin.
Chemical peels simplicity and effectiveness have made this type of service to be among the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures chosen by patients.
To experience the best results from chemical peels it is recommended that you receive a series of 4-8 treatments within a certain time frame.
Types of Peels
Enzyme Peels
An Enzyme peel accelerates the natural exfoliation process by penetrating the upper layers of the tissue, dissolving dead skin cells.
This is a good treatment to have before any event or special occasion to have you looking your best. Results are immediately visible. Pores are tighter, more refined. Skin looks smoother, clearer, and more radiant.
Acid Peels -
Glycolic/Lactic
When combined, glycolic acid and lactic acid work together to exfoliate the skin while reducing irritation and dryness. Glycolic acid penetrates quicker and deeper than other alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) to perform at all levels of the skin. Lactic acid is a gentle but effective AHA that increases moisture levels by stimulating the production of glycosaminoglycans.
Your skin is refreshed, retextured, and hydrated.
Salicylic/Mandelic
The perfect peel for problems such as excess oil, inflammation, and congested pores. When combined, salicylic acid and mandelic acid work together to exfoliate the skin while decongesting pores and reducing irritation. Although mandelic acid is one of the strongest alphahydroxy acids (AHA), its even penetration helps prevent irritation and inflammation that can sometimes occur with AHA use. Salicylic acid is a lipid soluble betahydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates pores to dissolve sebum and cellular debris.
TCA, Phenol
More aggressive peels that require recovery time and supervision of a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Working with your doctor we can set up Pre and Post treatments for your service.
